Hello!
My name is Molly Mackay and I am the proud owner of Molly Mackay Metalwork a small business based in Coonamble NSW.
I grew up on my parent’s broad acre cropping, sheep and cattle farm located east of Coonamble in North West NSW. At the end of 2018 I returned home after studying a bachelor of Agribusiness in Geelong, Victoria. Unfortunately, it has hardly rained since. During 2019 our property received a dismal rainfall of 160 mm our smallest annual rainfall since 1929.
I started the business as a drought project. I needed to create a business for myself which would give me the opportunity to stay in Coonamble and close to the farm. I have always loved art plasma cutting has become a slightly more practical natural progression from that.
Balancing a young family and a business my hours have changed to Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
I am always open to collaborating and creating custom pieces to suit any client’s needs so please do not hesitate to get in touch!
